Kanda 5 · Verse 1
नैता ते देवा अददुस्तुभ्यं नृपते अतवे । मा ब्राह्मणस्य राजन्य गां जिघत्सो अनाद्याम् ॥ १ ॥
O king, the gods did not grant you this strength to kill a cow that should not be eaten, especially a Brahmana's cow.
हे राजन, देवताओं ने तुम्हें यह शक्ति इसलिए नहीं दी कि तुम ब्राह्मण की उस गाय को मारो जो खाने योग्य नहीं है। यह कर्म तुम्हारे लिए उचित नहीं है।
Kanda 5 · Verse 1
यजूम्षि यज्ञे समिधः स्वाहाग्निः प्रविविद्वानी वः युनक्तु ॥ १ ॥
May Agni, learned scholar and enlightened scientist of yajna, light the samits, holy fuel, and fragrant materials and use the verses of Yajurveda here in this yajna in the home for you, i.e., inmates of the house. This is my prayer in truth of thought, word and deed.
यज्ञ में यजुर्वेद के मंत्र, समिधाएँ और अग्नि सब मिलकर आपको ज्ञान से युक्त करें। यह सब मिलकर आपको ईश्वर से जोड़ें।
Kanda 5 · Verse 6
ब्रह्मै जज्ञानं प्रथमं पुरस्ताद्धि सीमूतः सुरुचो वेन आवः । स बुध्यञ् उपमा अस्य विष्टाः सततश्च योनमसंतश्च वि वः ॥ ९ ॥
From Brahman, the first and foremost, arose the radiant light of consciousness, the source of all. This awakened awareness pervades all existence, both within and without, the seed and the boundless expanse.
यह श्लोक बताता है कि सबसे पहले ब्रह्म (परम सत्य) उत्पन्न हुआ, जिसने प्रकाशमान और सुंदर रूप धारण किया। उसी ब्रह्म से यह सारा विश्व उत्पन्न हुआ, जो सर्वव्यापी और अनन्त है।
Kanda 5 · Verse 23
ओतौ मे द्यावापृथिवी ओता देवी सरस्वती। ओतौ म इन्द्रश्चाग्निश्च क्रिमिं जम्भयतामिति॥१॥
Ote me dyāvāpr̥thivī otā devī sarasvatī. Otau ma indraścāgniśca krimiṁ jambhayatāmiti.
हे देवों, पृथ्वी और आकाश, देवी सरस्वती, इंद्र और अग्नि, मेरे भीतर समा जाएं और मेरे सभी दुखों को नष्ट कर दें।
Kanda 5 · Verse 29
पुरस्तादुक्तो वह जातवेदोऽग्रे विद्धि क्रियमाणं यथेदम् । त्वं भेषजभेषजस्यासि कर्ता त्वया गामश्वं पुरुषं सनेम ॥ १ ॥
O Agni, all-knowing one, know this creation as it is being made. You are the healer of all ailments, and through you, we obtain cattle, horses, and men.
हे जातवेद (अग्नि)! आपने पहले ही कहा है कि यह सब कर्म आपके द्वारा ही किया जा रहा है। आप ही औषधियों के भी औषध हैं, और आपके द्वारा ही हम गाय, घोड़े और मनुष्यों को प्राप्त करते हैं।
Kanda 5 · Verse 31
यां ते चक्रुगमे पात्रे यां चक्रुर्मिश्रधा ये । आमे मांसे कृत्यां यां चक्रुः पुनः प्रति हरामि ताम् ॥ १ ॥
I reclaim and nullify any ritual or spell that was performed against me, whether in a pure or impure vessel, or through any mixture, or upon my flesh and blood.
यह श्लोक एक मंत्र है जो किसी भी नकारात्मक ऊर्जा या जादू को वापस भेजने के लिए पढ़ा जाता है। **सरल हिंदी अनुवाद:** जिस जादू को मेरे लिए किसी अपवित्र पात्र में किया गया है, या जिसे कई प्रकार से किया गया है, और जो कच्चे मांस में किया गया है, उस जादू को मैं वापस भेजता हूँ।
